ProHealth Strategies combines many years of healthcare management experiences and expertise to assist physician practices and hospitals with the ultimate goal of increasing revenues and reducing costs.
Mubarak is a transformative and engaging healthcare executive who employs strategic and tactical solutions to improve financial and operational position of the company. Additionally, Mubarak uses re-engineering business processes to bring clarity to chaos.
Mubarak has thirty years of healthcare management experience covering hospitals, physician practices, rural health clinics, billing systems, clearinghouse, electronic health records, contract negotiations, physician partnerships, certificate of need (CON) home health, diagnostic imaging centers, ambulatory surgery centers and others.
He has worked with hospital from over 100 beds to 1,000 beds. He has worked with dozens of physician practices with number of M.D.s ranging from 5 to over 110 and revenues ranging from $12 million to over $200 million.
Mubarak’s experiences have guided him to not only improve operations but figure out ways to improve revenues and reduce costs wherever possible. His result driven approach to finances and operations has resulted in:
- Reduced costs on average 15% to 30%
- Increased margins from 25% to 40%
- Improved business revenues from 10% to 70%
- Improved physician practices’ revenues 20% to 40%
Mubarak has Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Evansville, Evansville, Indiana.

Tom has twenty years of experience in clinical anesthesia ranging from outpatient surgery through major cardiac surgery, critical care medicine, and pain management services.
Tom has been involved with both business and administrative oversight as a Managing Partner requiring the management of 75+ employees involving operating room, ASC’s, ICU’s, and office-based practices.
Tom has extensive experience in the oversight of billing and collection services of $35 million annual revenues, developed new internal coding process for 75 member private practice to prevent and allay potential missed charges representing a 33% improvement of P&L over seven years of management.
Tom’s leadership skills led to appointment as Operating Room Services Chairman responsible for administration, scheduling and improvement of services of 24 inpatient and eight outpatient operating rooms.
Tom’s motivating factors are based on the 5 A’s: Availability, Affordability, Adaptability, Affability and most importantly, Ability.
Throughout his medical professional career, Tom has serviced a variety of clients and contractual relationships in the areas of physician groups, surgery centers, hospitals, payers, patients and employees.

Tom graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in both Biology and Chemistry from St. Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri.
Medical Degree (M.D.) from St. Louis University College of Medicine.
Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from George Washington University, with an emphasis in Healthcare.

Nelson is a technology executive that has helped many large companies achieve their vision of business transformation using technology while always managing the human impact toward change.
Nelson’s career started with managing a hospital business office. Managing Account Receivable Days report was the focus of his work. Corporate’s selection and later implementation of a new patient accounting was a game changer for him. Nelson became the project manager and led the implementation of the new patient and general accounting systems for 5 hospitals in the chain. The success of the implementation led to his promotion as Director, Patient Accounting.
A year later, missing the excitement of technology, Nelson joined a software company developing hospital related systems. Nelson continues working with technology 30 years later.
While Nelson began his career working with hospitals, he has successfully expanded into other industries and different roles. Prior to joining ProHealth Strategies, Nelson was the consulting practice leader for 9 years for two of Oracle Customer Experience Cloud products, Field Service Cloud and Knowledge Advanced.
Nelson has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Arkansas, Little Rock and is working on his PMI Project Management Professional Certification.
In his spare time, Nelson enjoys playing softball, checking out new Midtown restaurants and walking the oval at Piedmont Park. Nelson is active with his church and their ministries, St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church.
